How to access and use SpeedGrader in Canvas

SpeedGrader is a powerful grading tool in Canvas that allows instructors to quickly view, annotate, and provide feedback on student submissions. It supports various file types, media, and text entries, offering an efficient way to grade and communicate with students. SpeedGrader is integrated with the Gradebook, ensuring seamless grade updates.

Accessing SpeedGrader

For Assignments and Quizzes:

1. Select the desired assignment or quiz from your modules or from the Assignments or Quizzes area of Canvas.
2. Click the SpeedGrader link on the right-hand sidebar.

For Discussions:

1. Open Discussions in the course navigation menu.
2. Select the discussion you want to grade.
3. Click the three dots button in the upper-right corner of the page and then click SpeedGrader (available only for graded discussions).
