Payroll vs. Non-Payroll Employees
Payroll employees will use UCPath to make changes to contact and other employee information. Non-payroll employees will be able to edit their contact and other information in InstructorLink.

Payroll Employees
For payroll employees who would like to update their contact information, including address, phone number, or email, please follow the steps below.
1. Visit UC Path and click Log in to UCPath.
2. In the left-side navigation, click (a) "Employee Actions" and select (b) "Personal Information."

3. Email your program representative to inform them of any information you have changed in UCPath to ensure changes take place.
Non-Payroll Employees
Non-payroll employees and instructors can change their Canvas username and email address by updating their account in InstructorLink.
1. Login to https://instructorlink.ucsd.edu/ (this is the site you go to enter final grades)
2. On the left menu click on My Account.
3. On the My Account page that shows your account information, click Edit.

Note: If you do not see an Edit button, you are a payroll employee/instructor, and you should follow the directions for Payroll Employees.
4. Update your email address and click Save.
- Note: Your email will be updated in Canvas during the next Canvas refresh (occurs hourly 7:30am -8:30pm)
