Below is a list of the third party tools we currently have installed on our Canvas environment. If you have a tool that is not on this list that you would like us to evaluate please contact your Academic Department Rep so they can complete a request 30 days prior to your course going live: Request for Third Party Tool Canvas Integration. The evaluation process will help us determine if the tool meets our student privacy and data protection standards, our technical requirements and allow us a chance to inform other departments who may be involved. Please note, based on the information you provide we may guide you towards using a tool we already support.
An integration between Canvas and the Cengage product suite including MindTap, Aplia, SAM, CengageNOW, OWLv2, 4LTR Press Online and National Geographic Learning. This integration provides access to McGraw Hill’s interactive resources tied to course content and textbooks. The integration auto-logs users into MH-Campus from within course material. A collection of science based activities and interactive videos that allow students to explore real events in an online environment. LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within the Canvas course. There are many logistical and pedagogical considerations to address prior to using this tool including instructor tool training, student fees and communication. An integration between Canvas and virtual lab company Science Interactive. Allows instructors to embed lab activity and assessment items from Science Interactive into the course in Canvas.
