When viewing a video with caption enabled (on either desktop or mobile), it can be chaotic and disruptive when trying to look at the content of the video. Captions may be blocking important texts, images, or instructions for the course, which is why knowing how to access the caption options is important. If course content is being blocked by the captions, you can:
- Watch the video in Full Screen (click on )
- Disable the captions/Alter how the caption look with Caption "Options"

How to Disable Captions:
1. Go to the video that you wish to view
2. At the bottom of the video player, click on the icon . Then click on "Off" tab.
3. Captions should now be disable. If you wish to keep track of what the speaker is saying you can open up the transcript by clicking on Show transcript below the video player. The highlighted text represents where the speaker is. Click Hide transcript to hide the transcript.
How to Access Caption Options:
1. Go to the video that you wish to view
2. At the bottom of the video player, click on the icon . Then click on the "Options" tab.
4. Here you can select different style of captions and how you want them to be highlighted in the video.
5. If you click on Edit custom Captions, you'll be able to edit different properties(Size, Color, Font, Background) of the captions. You can view your changes at the bottom of the video player where it states "Captions Preview".
