Majority of UC San Diego Extended courses are offered through our Canvas LMS (https://extensioncanvas.ucsd.edu), but occasionally courses will be offered on a third-party platform.
How to access a non-Extended Studies Canvas hosted course:
Each Online Provider will have different login steps communicated to the student by the Academic Department who manages the course. Students can find out which Online Provider their course is using and link to the platform's website through their MyExtension portal:
1. Log into https://myextension.ucsd.edu
2. Click on the My Courses tab
3. Click on the name of the section you are enrolled in
4. Scroll down to the Online Provider area where a link to either Canvas or the third-party platform is posted
